Open Air Fit Kids – FAQ’s

How long does each session last?
What do my children need to bring?
What if my child needs medication?
Can I leave my child for the duration of the class and collect them at the end of the session?
How many children in a class?
What happens if it rains?
How long does each session last?

Sessions last between 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on which activity your child attends. Our toddler sessions last 45 minutes and after school football  is an hour; a Kids Camps morning lasts 3 hours.

What do my children need to bring?

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather, and exercise that they will be taking. Shin pads and studs are necessary for football. Please provide them with a drink and a snack for during and after the session. A waterproof / warm coat and tracksuit bottoms to put on after a session in the cold would be sensible.

.

What if my child needs medication?

We require medical questions to be completed as part of your child’s registration. All medication must be handed to the lead coach or trainer at the start of a session and your child’s condition discussed with them.

Can I leave my child for the duration of the class and collect them at the end of the session?

This depends on what activity they are attending. For toddler sessions, parents need to stay at the session. Older children can be left for their session, and we will contact you should we need to. For group sessions, we prefer 1 parent to stay if possible.

How many children in a class?

We adhere to Ofsted ratio for children to coach numbers. Each session will have a lead coach and most sessions will also have an assistant coach.

What happens if it rains?

We carry on! Children don’t care about the rain! But please make sure your child is dressed for all weather – in cold weather please bring plenty of warm clothes and waterproofs are always recommended. In the summer, and when the sun shines, then a sun hat and sun cream are recommended.

Basically, please make sure their kit bags have the right clothing and accessories for all eventualities.
