Melvin Capleton

Mel is the Founder and Director of Open Air Fit.  He’s a professional Sports/Fitness coach and a former professional footballer with over 25 years experience in sports and fitness.  He had 14 years experience playing football at the professional level of the game. He has worked with some of the country’s leading football coaches, and also coached at a number of semi-professional football clubs before forming Open Air Fit.

Since finishing his football career Mel has gone on to establish himself as a renowned and highly regarded fitness professional.  Mel a PT who’s work covers sports specific conditioning, rehab, weight loss, or if you just simply want to improve your general fitness.  His big big love and passion is the challenge of getting the best out of people no matter what age, shape or ability through PT, groups or Women’s Football classes.

His qualifications include F.A Coaching License, F.A Goalkeeper Coaching License, and UEFA (B), is YMCA qualified (Level 2 and 3 fitness instruction and personal training) and is certified in First Aid.

Natasha

Natasha worked in advertising, before becoming a Personal Trainer.  She has now worked as a Personal Trainer with Open Air Fit for over 12 years.
She fully appreciates the stresses caused by a hectic family life and how the body changes as a result of pregnancy, age and the menopause.  She has first-hand experience of how the physical and mental benefits provided by regular exercise can help!
She regularly runs in charity events.
Natasha runs our popular Mixed Circuits classes as well as training small groups and individuals.

Valeriia

Valeriia is an experienced personal trainer and Pilates Practitoner who works with clients of all levels.

Her passion is focusing on functional and strength training which helps to increase your flexibility and mobility, along with increasing physical endurance.

She’s an experienced Level 3 Qualified Trainer and Polestar Pilates Practitioner with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and is First Aid qualified.

Outside of work Valeriia regularly challenges herself in endurance sports, including running, ski marathons, cycling, swimming and triathlons.

Will

Will is a rugby specialist with 15 years worth of experience having started playing at an early age and remains an active player today.

Will’s fitness interests are Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ) as well as sport specific strength and conditioning.

Will runs a number of sports sessions for kids and teenagers and can be hired for 1-to-1 Personal Training sessions with adults and children.
